Every task is reviewed before scheduling. Work requiring a contractor’s license or permit is outside our current scope. Meal preparation is a planned offering, pending applicable approvals.

Founder Joshua Ortiz is a combat veteran with 10 years of combined military and civilian law enforcement experience, including an assignment to Presidential Security Detail. That background shaped a lasting commitment to responsibility, discretion and following through.
As a Fortune 500 Principal Program Manager, Joshua brings the same patient problem-solving to technology that he brings to a household project. A lifelong interest in making things—from custom woodworking to home improvements—and experience catering large gatherings add a practical understanding of how homes work and people come together.
His Christian faith grounds New Day’s purpose: serving others and meeting people where they are in life. That welcome extends to every client, whatever their background or beliefs.
SIMPLE, FLEXIBLE PRICING
Choose occasional help or a monthly bank of hours. Your plan follows your priorities—not a fixed bundle of services.
A BRIGHT BEGINNING
Two 2-hour introductory visits.
That’s $60 per hour.
ONGOING SUPPORT
Non-plan appointments are $95 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum.
Materials, groceries and specialty items are additional and require your approval. Standard tools are included. Monthly plans are prepaid; cancel before your next billing date. No long-term contract.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Yes. Your appointment is time for the priorities we agree on together. For example, we can assemble a small piece of furniture and help set up your tablet during the same visit, as time and scope allow.
Absolutely. We’ll start with their preferences and comfort, agree on what help they want and confirm who should receive appointment updates—with their permission.
New Day focuses on practical household and technology support. We do not offer medical care, medication administration, bathing, toileting or emergency response.
We review the work before scheduling. Projects requiring a contractor’s license or permit must be handled by an appropriately licensed professional.
Our initial service area is Fresno and Clovis. Specific location, travel and scheduling are confirmed before an appointment.
